Sweet & Spicy Monkey Beer

  • Hot Monkey Pepper Infused Vodka (distilled and bottled in Portland OR)
  • Organic, 100% pure pineapple  juice
  • Extra Ginger Beer
  • Squeeze of lime
  • Collins glass  (10-12 fluid oz)
  • Fill Collins glass with ice
  • Add 1  1/2 oz Hot Monkey vodka
  • Fill remaining 1/2 of glass with organic, 100 % pineapple juice
  • Add a squeeze of lime
  • Pour contents into a shaker tin, and shake until frosted
  • Pour ingredients into Collins glass
  • Fill glass with Extra Ginger Beer
  • Garnish with sliced jalapeno peppers and lime wheel

  1. I LOVE the Hot Monkey Vodka. It is made locally (in Portland) by a company that uses organic ingredients. I made a similar version, but without the ginger beer. I served mine straight up in a martini glass and garnished it with a dried hot pepper. It tastes great, but more than one is bound to give you a tummy ache. I'll bet the ginger beer version is not as hard on the tummy since ginger helps settle your stomach.
